Art

Richelle uses oil and acrylic paints. She occasionally uses water colors and pastels.

Her artwork details gardens, flowers, favorite places and social justice themes. She also creates poetic works to accompany her social justice paintings.

She paints in the impressionist, abstract and post-expressionist styles.  She is a fan of Claude Monet, Mary Cassatt, Jonathan Green, Henry Osawa Tanner and Brazilian folk art. Richelle received private art instruction in Brazil and loves learning how to improve her craft.

When she is not writing, creating or running, you can find her wandering through museums, palaces and beach trails for inspiration and information.
